When Asianera’s Grace Liu met Rob Pepper, the two hit it off immediately finding their mutual passion for both art and for the city of Shanghai. Award-winning British artist, Rob Pepper’s recent series of illustrations “Portraiture of Shanghai” depicts the essence of Shanghai, a fascinating synthesis of traditional Chinese, western colonial influences and modern lifestyle. It is an honor for Asianera to collaborate with Rob to present his artwork on our fine bone china. We developed a series of lovely gift items from tea sets to mugs.
